About National Kissing Day
A day for kissing, held every 6 July. It began in the UK and is now celebrated around the world.

The idea is simple: life gets busy, and a kiss is the quickest way to tell someone you care. We want every adult to remember the value of even one kiss.
Where the day comes from
International Kissing Day began in the UK, on 6 July. We established National Kissing Day on 22 June, and have now moved it to 6 July so that it matches what kissing day has become: an international celebration. This site has been the home of the day over many years, and it is where the day is run from.
How it works
Each year we look at the nation’s kissing habits with partners and researchers: what people get right, what puts them off, and what they worry about. Those findings go out to radio, TV and online media in the weeks before 6 July, alongside practical tips and expert interviews.
Who runs it
National Kissing Day is run by Digital Alchemy FZ-LLC, which owns and manages a portfolio of UK awareness campaigns. Its media work is delivered with Relations Group, the UK broadcast PR agency behind the day’s radio and TV coverage.
